La Gabriela

The corner Puerto Rico calls Bad Bunny's. La Gabriela, the restored building on the Paseo de Diego, is the address behind a rumor that turned into a landmark: locally it is credited to el conejo malo's team, and the name is widely read as a nod to Gabriela Berlingeri. On evenings and weekends the sidewalk in front of it is where Río Piedras stops for photos, and as the ground-floor spaces open it is becoming the street's new hangout. Come for the corner everyone is talking about, then walk the rest of the Paseo de Diego, the Plaza del Mercado and the UPR stretch around it — this is the block that put the district back on the map.
